Jesus Berumen, PA Mexico energy expert, is quoted in an article in Reforma.  The article discusses the state of the gas station market in Mexico with the entry of new players.

Commenting on the topic, Jesus states: The new market will stimulate the growth of service stations, which will add up to about 12 thousand. The Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission expects that in the next 10 years, this number of service stations will double.  In Mexico the real business of gas stations is not in the sale of fuel, but in cross-selling such as convenience store and auto-wash services.”
