Mexican premium gasoline consumption increases

Jesus Berumen, PA Mexico energy expert, is quoted in leading newspaper Reforma. The article discusses the recent increase in the consumption of premium gasoline in Mexico.

According to Pemex's latest figures, in November 2016 premium gasoline sales increased by 18 percent compared to the same month in 2015.

The energy expert estimated that the purchase volume of this fuel will barely drop one or two percent despite its price increase.

Jesus Berumen said: There will be many who continue buying Premium gasoline, nevertheless some will choose Magna gasoline, the ones already familiar with the engine.”
