DHL had amalgamated its IT management function into one centralised function. As a result they wanted to undertake a programme to identify, define and implement a set of key processes to enable the integration and co-ordination of its IT management services across all its operating regions.
PA Consulting Group (PA) was asked to help the IT Strategy and Planning Director define and start the programme. We developed an operating model for the new IT function which identified and prioritised the key processes required. We then developed an approach to defining and implementing the individual processes. And finally, we produced the detailed plan and the governance approach for the programme.
