Improving stroke services – Healthcare for London

Investing in a clinical pathway that will prevent stroke, save more lives and improve the lives of stroke survivors and their carers

Healthcare for London commissioned PA Consulting Group to project manage the design of an end-to-end stroke care pathway covering prevention, acute intervention, rehabilitation and community care and was then asked to design and manage a process that would enable London commissioners to designate specialised centres for acute intervention across the capital.

We worked with key stakeholder groups from the outset in the design of the pathway and worked with health experts who would regularly give their opinion and advice on the new design of the new stroke system.

This contributed to the new clinical pathway design that will prevent stroke and save more lives.
