PA has in-depth capability to deliver real solutions in a short timeframe. PA assisted the Sepura team to meet the complex mechanical integration of components and systems by establishing a programme of rapid development of robust solutions.
PA added capabilities to the Sepura team using individuals with specific skills across the product development spectrum, including applying smart rapid prototyping and testing of real hardware at PA’s Cambridge laboratories.
The combined Sepura and PA team had the depth of experience and breadth to resolve more than 100 complex technical issues in three months. PA provided focus to the programme to create concept solutions, and then manage the risk of these through screening and rapid parts manufacture, scaling up to real moulded part solutions. Sepura provided the key product knowledge and kept the suppliers onboard with the solutions as they developed, to further reduce risk in the critical transition of the design across to a production model.
Sepura has met its ambitious development programme for the STP8000 hand-portable which is now successfully launched and achieving sales in the global TETRA market place.
