A review of the 2008 Defence Acquisition Workshop

The 2008 Defence Acquisition Workshop at Shrivenham, UK,  brought together 100 senior delegates from MOD and industry to discuss acquisition management within the context of Team Defence. The delegates focused on the sub-themes of reducing the cost of doing business, shorter acqusition and more effective delivery, and ideintified key issues and actions to be taken forward.

This report provides an overview of the workshop, the key outputs from the delegate syndicate sessions and the next steps to carry the actions forward.
