Job description

  •  We are guided by our client work and needs; however, you have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance.
  • Flexible working - We operate in a hybrid working environment where we come into a client site or office, at least 2-3 days per week.
  • This role will be aligned to our office in Cheltenham, candidates based in Bristol, London or Manchester will be considered

Our Operating Model team are looking for an exceptional Operating Model Consultant for Digital Organisations in the Public Sector and Defence. You will be at the forefront of shaping how businesses adapt to the digital age. Your role involves providing strategic guidance and operational expertise to organisations undergoing digital transformation.

Due to the nature of the work and restrictions imposed by the client, this role requires Sole British Nationality

 

You will have opportunity to work on:

Strategic Guidance:

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and execute the organization’s digital strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvement and alignment with digital goals.
  • Develop action plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Operating Model Design:

  • Analyse existing organizational structures and processes.
  • Propose changes to optimize business processes for digital success.
  • Consider agile methodologies, cross-functional teams, and customer-centric approaches.

Change Management:

  • Facilitate cultural shifts necessary for digital adoption.
  • Engage stakeholders and communicate changes effectively.
  • Address resistance and promote a growth mindset.

Technology Integration:

  • Work closely with IT teams to integrate digital tools and platforms.
  • Ensure seamless adoption of cloud services, automation, and data analytics.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the digital operating model.
  • Collect feedback, iterate, and adapt as needed.
  • Stay informed about emerging digital trends

Qualifications

  • You will possess a university degree in a relevant field.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience in planning and delivering organisation design solutions.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously is essential
  • Comfortable collaborating virtually and contributing to business development.
