Job description

- Flexible working - We operate in a hybrid working environment where we come into a client site or office, at least 2-3 days per week. This role will be aligned to our London Victoria office
Are you concerned that your career to date doesn’t equip you with the right skills to really accelerate how organisations deliver?
Our Risk & Regulation team are looking for an exceptional Consultant Analyst. You will be able to pursue your own area of interest through involvement in our strategy campaigns, including gaining insight into a specific risk type (such as climate risk, conduct risk, operational risk); a specific sub-sector (banking, asset management, insurance); or a specific area of regulatory focus (such as Consumer Duty, Anti-Money Laundering Directives).
You will develop you career as a consultant by collaborating with other like-minded colleagues in multi-functional teams, working on some of our most exciting projects.
You will have opportunity to contribute to:
- Enhancing the firm’s approach to risk management (in particular non-financial risks)
- Improving firm’s operating model across the three lines of defence
- Enhancing corporate governance and risk culture, and helping firm’s to embed good consumer and conduct outcomes
- Delivering effective regulatory change, including providing independent assurance and Skilled Person reviews
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience working at a management consultancy, or for a financial services firm (preferably in a risk, compliance or transformation role)
- A desire to become an expert in risk and regulation and enthusiasm to apply this to delivery and transformational projects
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with top-level stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
You may also have:
- An understanding of how change is delivered in a regulatory context
- Experience of coordinating activities across multiple teams, including across the three lines of defence
- Knowledge of core transformation steps and tools used in transformation (risk logs, project status reports, project planning)
