Christian Wandt joins PA Consulting in Sweden to secure new anti-money laundering expertise

PA Consulting Sweden has appointed Christian Wandt to an expert role focusing on tackling money laundering and terrorist financing.
Christian has extensive experience in the field of anti-money laundering, having held leading positions at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Swedish Police Authority. In addition, he has served as Sweden's representative to international expert groups in the Financial Action Task Force, the European Banking Authority and the Basel Committee.
Christian said “Sweden faces significant challenges in terms of organized crime with strong links to money laundering and terrorism. I’m therefore very excited to join the PA team and contribute to their services in this area, as well as continuing to support public authorities and financial institutions in addressing these challenges, building on PA’s extensive international network of skills.”
Prior to joining PA Consulting, Christian worked at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, where he has held positions as senior advisor and head of department, as well as being responsible for the agency's national and international work against money laundering and terrorist financing. In addition, he sat on the steering group for Sweden's national coordination function.
Before that, he worked at the Swedish Police authority as a manager and in a number of specialist functions related to investigations and asset-oriented law enforcement.
