Digital expert Rahul Harlalka joins PA as partner in Transport

Rahul Harlalka joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in PA’s Transport practice and digital capability. He will play a key role in driving digital strategy and transformation across the transport sector.

Rahul brings over 20 years’ experience across the transport, retail and public sector and was most recently the head of transport at BAE Systems, where he led key digital and automation programmes with Network Rail and National Highways.

Prior to this, Rahul worked at Fujitsu and DXC Technology, where he focused on transforming the transport digital capability, and leading business development and sales across Europe and the Middle East.

PA’s Transport experts work with governments, regulators, transport operators and infrastructure providers to devise the right strategies and harness breakthrough technologies to offer safe, efficient transport today, and plan for the uncertainty of tomorrow. PA has supported Network Rail to launch an award-winning Accelerating Innovation (AI) programme, allowing for ideas to be deployed on the front line faster, to proactively identify and manage blockers to innovation, and meet demand for rail services more effectively. As part of the UK government’s ‘greenprint’ for building a net zero transport system by 2050, PA teamed up with the Royal College of Art to design a chargepoint for The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles that will help accelerate the adoption of zero-emission road transport.
