PA Consulting’s Cate Pye and Fraser Nicol, cyber security experts, comment on the key cybersecurity considerations under M&A deals in an article by Jessica Tasman-Jones in FT Agenda.

Commenting on this, Cate explains: “Companies’ values can be affected by their cyber security standards. In some cases this can determine whether a deal will be taken to completion”.

Fraser adds, “Organisations have to look beyond traditional IT systems. Manufacturing plants, vehicles and handheld devices should now be part of due diligence of cyber security because of the data they process”.
