Karen Harrison joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in Health and Life Sciences with expertise in Human Capital and Change. Karen will specialise in talent acquisition and retention, working with key stakeholders to understand the impact of organisational changes on talent, and developing solutions and interventions to mitigate potential risks.
Karen brings over 25 years’ global talent development experience, specialising in fusing corporate and talent strategies to enable organisations to attain and retain their competitive advantage through their people.
Karen joins PA from a Japanese multinational pharmaceutical company, where as Vice President Global Talent she was responsible for establishing a Talent Centre of Excellence with Global Practice Leads. Prior to that she was a Director at several consultancy firms, including KH People Consulting Ltd and outsourcing organisations where her role focussed on resourcing and talent strategies, leadership coaching and mentoring, as well as integrating acquisitions. Clients included private healthcare providers and professional regulators.
Karen is a CTI qualified Executive and Leadership Coach and Licensed NLP Practitioner, as well as an active member of a cross organisation group with the sole purpose of designing a blueprint for future organisations.
PA’s Health and Life Sciences experts work with both private and public healthcare systems in the UK, the US and Europe, helping payers, providers, healthcare associations, regulators and governments, and looking for innovative ways to improve quality of life. Our experts have recently helped the UK Government with leading the UK Ventilator Challenge during the pandemic, and provided support to NHS commissioners in North East London to help them develop proposals for the future shape of health provision in the area.
George Botsakos, Global Lead for Health & Life Sciences, PA Consulting, said: “We are delighted to have Karen join our team. Her leadership in talent management, future workforces, and organisational change, will help our Human Capital and Change teams deliver ingenious and sustainable solutions for our clients as they look to position their organisations for emerging business needs and specialised skills.”
Karen Harrison added: “I am excited to be joining PA Consulting at such a pivotal time in the company’s growth journey. PA has enviable client relationships and is continually innovative and creative. Working across its wide range of capabilities will allow me to open up the People channel and further grow the Human Capital and Change footprint with many of our new and existing clients.”
