PA Consulting, the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, has appointed Maggie Titmuss as a Senior Advisor to further enhance and support its Cyber Security and Digital Trust capability.
As cyber threats become more high profile and increasingly complex, Maggie will work with PA’s Cyber Security and Digital Trust team to help clients reduce their digital and technology security risks.
A recognised leader in cyber threats, Maggie’s broader experience spans over 30 years, with her recent position as Lloyds Banking Group’s Director of Intelligence and Incident Response. She has extensive experience in international law enforcement and financial services and has held senior positions at the National Crime Agency (NCA), the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) and HSBC.
Maggie will have responsibility for leading and developing a Cyber Advisory board – appointing cyber and digital experts who can provide deep insight and expertise across PA’s clients. Given her expertise, she will initially focus on the financial services and defence and security sectors, but will look to appoint specialists across energy, life sciences, healthcare, public sector, manufacturing, transport and consumer & retail.
Commenting on the role Maggie said: “I am delighted to be working with PA’s Digital Trust and Cyber Security team. The breadth and depth of expertise across the team is fantastic and I’ve been impressed by their ingenious approach to helping clients with ever evolving cyber challenges.
“I look forward to building a Cyber Advisory board and bringing together insights from a range of different experts so that PA’s clients are supported with specialist expertise to tackle their digital and cyber needs.”
Elliot Rose, Global Head of Digital Trust & Cyber Security, PA Consulting, said: “We’re delighted to have Maggie supporting us across our digital and cyber capability. Her reputation precedes her, and we are all looking forward to learning from her and drawing upon her unique 30 years’ experience in this space. As cyber threats become more high profile and sophisticated across every sector Maggie, and eventually the board, will help ensure we are best placed to support our clients in navigating these pressures, and help them protect and grow their organisations.”
PA’s Cyber Security experts work with organisations not only to mitigate constantly evolving threats and improve business resilience, but to unlock growth through digital trust, by developing the systems, processes and culture that keep organisations secure. PA’s experts have helped OneSavings Bank improve its operational resilience in the face of different risks, delivered engaging and challenging GDPR training sessions for workers at Aviva and supported a strategic cyber security partnership to drive growth at Allied Irish Bank.
