London – November 29, 2022 – PA Consulting is pleased to announce it is a recipient of a 2022 Regional and Global AWS Partner Award, recognising leaders around the globe playing a key role helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Announced during a Partner Awards Gala at AWS re:Invent 2022 on Monday 28 November, the Regional and Global AWS Partner Awards recognise a wide range of AWS Partners, whose business models have embraced specialisation, innovation, and cooperation over the past year. Regional and Global AWS Partner Awards recognise partners whose business models continue to evolve and thrive on AWS as they work with customers.
A panel of AWS experts selected the winners based on strict criteria. PA Consulting has received the Collaboration Partner of the Year award that recognises where a partner organisation collaborates with other AWS Partners to solve a customer challenge.
By championing an innovative approach that brought together talent from several AWS partners, PA delivered the public cloud platform accredited to hold crucial data for a large UK Government Agency.
Delivering over 90 cloud platform capabilities in just over a year, PA equipped the client to be able to utilise the enhanced security and self-service capabilities provided by a modern cloud hosting platform. This resulted in a weekly, rather than quarterly release cycle of new services and will deliver multi-million pounds savings over the lifetime of the platform.
Rahul Gupta, cloud transformation expert at PA Consulting said: “The work led by PA has established the foundations of a modern cloud infrastructure that will transform the client’s approach to sharing of data with its internal consumers. The cloud platform which has been delivered iteratively, using an agile approach that leveraged the unique capabilities from each partner, will change the future of this Government client.”
For the first time, Regional and Global AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across a number of award categories and specialisation areas awarded at both the regional and global level where all AWS Partners were invited to participate and submit a nomination.
The AWS Partner Network (APN), is a global program, focused on helping companies build successful AWS-based businesses or solutions by providing business, technical, marketing, and go-to-market support. The APN includes independent software vendors (ISVs) and systems integrators (SIs) around the world, with AWS Partner participation growing significantly during the past 12 months.
Ruba Borno, vice president, Worldwide Channels and Alliances at AWS said: “AWS Partners are at the centre of unlocking value for global customers, across a wide range of industries. We are honoured to launch the inaugural Regional and Global AWS Partner Awards, and thank all the nominees and winners for accelerating our customers’ cloud transformation journey.”
