Sally Shellum joins PA Consulting to enhance Change capability within the Transport team

Sally Shellum joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in the Transport team, with a core focus on enhancing PA’s Change capability. Sally will focus on embedding change within PA’s wider major programme support offering, particularly within major transport infrastructure programmes.

Most recently, Sally was Divisional Director at Mott McDonald, where she led the Rail Account in the Advisory and Programme Delivery Unit, providing project management and commercial solutions to a range of rail clients. Before this, she spent 16 years with Network Rail where she delivered a range of multi-disciplinary programmes and ending her time there as Head of Programme Development for the Infrastructure Projects Signalling Business, focussing on focussing on ensuring delivery readiness for future regulatory funding periods. 

Sally has significant experience in leading multi-disciplinary railway infrastructure programmes at all stages of the project lifecycle. From Business Case development through to ensuring outcomes are successfully delivered to end users and operators. She combines stakeholder engagement and change management expertise with deep technical knowledge of the UK Rail Industry. Sally’s professional experience has been combined with academic achievements, such as an MSc in Major Programme Management at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School.

PA’s Transport experts work with Governments, regulators, transport operators and infrastructure providers to offer safe, efficient transport today, and plan for the uncertainty of tomorrow. PA brings its expertise in innovation and agile project methodologies to deliver and implement new technologies across the rail network. More recently, PA Consulting has supported Network Rail's R&D team accelerate its innovation of new technologies, which can be deployed to improve existing assets' performance and address future challenges.
