The PA Foundation appoints Sheridan Ash MBE as Trustee
The PA Foundation, the independent charity partner of PA Consulting (PA), the global innovation and transformation consultancy, has appointed Sheridan Ash MBE as its newest independent Trustee.
Sheridan has forged a notable career in strategic and disruptive transformational change, harnessing technology and innovation to benefit people, improve organisations, and deliver social good. She is founder of Tech She Can, a charity, which to date has educated over half a million children about technology careers. Other notable accomplishments include shaping public and private sector policies on both national technology skill shortages and the importance of attracting diverse talent in technology.
The PA Foundation’s mission is to develop and inspire people, particularly those facing disadvantage, to be the innovators and leaders of tomorrow, applying their ingenuity to solve the world’s biggest challenges. Sheridan’s background and expertise will enhance The PA Foundation’s efforts, particularly in supporting women and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths).
Sheridan’s unique skill set is recognised through various appointments, including as a member of the L’Oreal UK&I Advisory Board; Co-chair of the City of London Corporation Digital Skills Taskforce; and Co-founder of Birmingham Digital Futures (BDF). Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including:
- Named in the IT Leaders 100 – a list of the most influential IT leaders in the UK in 2024
- Ranked 3rd most influential woman in UK technology by Computer Weekly in 2023
- Recipient of the TechUK President’s Award in 2023
- Winner of both the Novi Business Woman and Social Impact Leader Awards in 2022
- Awarded an MBE in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to young girls and women through technology.
