Office for Zero Emission Vehicles

Ending the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2030 is key to the UK government’s plans to address the climate emergency. Yet motorists’ concerns about being able to charge electric vehicles (EVs) easily is a barrier to this policy. To answer those concerns and encourage more people to switch to EVs, we collaborated with the Royal College of Art to design and develop the blueprint for an emblematic chargepoint.
