Over the course of eight weeks, our diverse team of experts embedded itself in the heart of the Research Operations Office at the University of Cambridge, improving staff engagement and setting out a clear path to positive outcomes.

With over 50,000 vulnerable people shielding at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hampshire County Council urgently needed to understand their support needs. In just seven days, we developed and launched a Wellbeing Automated Call Service (WACS), dramatically enhancing the council’s capacity to do this.

Around the world governments are adopting multiple measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, including contact tracing. We led the coordination of the fast-paced development of Smitte|stop, a national digital contact tracing app implemented by the Danish public health authorities in the early months of the pandemic.

Working through our Argenti partnership, our innovative approach to technology-enabled care, we delivered an end-to-end care technology service on behalf of Essex County for three years. Over this period, we increased referrals by 150 per cent, delivered financial benefits worth more than £6.5 million and garnered 99 per cent positive feedback from service users.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is building seven Astute-class, nuclear-powered submarines to maintain the UK’s naval defences. Our support in negotiating the final deal enabled the MOD to secure savings of £110 million on the £1.4 billion contract.

Our expert guidance helped the UK MOD negotiate £250m maritime support savings.

Anglo American’s Woodsmith Project – the construction of a new fertiliser development – has the potential to transform the regional economy in the North of England. Bringing deep expertise in economic development, technology and innovation, and supply chain, we identified wide-ranging opportunities for Anglo American to collaborate with local partners to boost existing growth initiatives.

We’ve been working with RE:FIT London, the programme set up by the Mayor of London, to help reduce carbon emissions in the UK capital. Working in close collaboration with RE:FIT, we’ve given organisations the support needed to develop their business case for investment in energy efficiency and design the financing package to make this possible.

We partnered with Hampshire County Council to find innovative ways of using digital technology that would transform the lives of people who rely on social care support. We trialled Amazon Echo with 50 adults using social care services to understand how it could help them, and engaged social workers and carers to learn how it could support the wider care system.

Argenti, our innovative approach to technology-enabled care, is still equipping vulnerable people with technology to help them live independently at home, despite the COVID-19 outbreak.
